I knew from an early age that I wanted to study U.S. history, although it wasn’t until I got to college that I decided that I would be a historian. I earned a B.A. and M.A. from Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts, and my Ph.D. from Boston College. I have worked at Purdue University Fort Wayne (formerly Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne) since 2010.
I currently serve as the university’s COVID-19 point of contact, Director of Strategic Planning and Implementation, and Director of the Office of Academic Innovation.
Away from the university, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two children exploring all that Fort Wayne has to offer. Having spent most of my life in Massachusetts, I am a die-hard fan of Boston sports teams, especially the Red Sox, Patriots, and Celtics. I am an avid reader and enjoy listening to unhip music and binge-watching TV shows.
